Anya: Do you really think I'm royalty?
Dimitri: You know I do!
Anya: Then stop bossing me around!

I'm Alisha Erin Heavilon, also known as Galadriel, Gala, Queen, Raindrop, Sheesha, Lisha, Ice Princess, and Droppy. ;-) I'm eighteen years old, and I live in Frankfort, Indiana with my dad and sister, plus my wonderful grandparents. I also spend a lot of time visiting my mom, step-dad, and half-sister in St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from high school in May of 2003 and love my life. This fall I will be off to college at Purdue University.

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints. It has made such an impact on my life, I can't even describe it. I don't know where I would be right now if I wasn't a Mormon, but I know I would be a very different person.
I currently serve as the Frankfort Branch Librarian, and a Stake Youth Representative.
Mahonri Moriancumer and Vinchenzo de Franques are my two Church heroes. Mahonri Moriancumer is better known as the Brother of Jared, a man found in the Book of Mormon. His faith was so great, he saw the Lord and was also able to make a mountain move. Vinchenzo de Franques was an Italian immigrant who found a copy of the Book of Mormon in some garbage at the turn of the century. He read it, and the Lord revealed to him that it was true, but the book lacked a title page and he didn't know what it was called. Throughout the rest of his life he searched for the Church that had published the book. He was a preacher, but was forced to leave his church because he was preaching from the Book of Mormon. Forty years after finding the book he was finally able to contact the church and be baptised. His faith never wavered. He, an unbaptised man who knew nothing more of the Church, was a greater advocate for the Book of Mormon than some members are all their lives. He greatly impresses me with such strength.
I love the Book of Mormon. I love to read it and learn from it. I know it is a true book, another testament of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to have it and the Gospel in my life. I know that Gordon B. Hinckley is the Lord's prophet on the earth today. I know that he is a man called of God and that he recieves revelation from the Lord. I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints, and I hope that someday I'll have the opportunity to share the most worthwhile and important thing in my life with someone else. I want to share the Gospel because it has brought so many wonderful blessings to me and I want everyone else to be as happy and have those same blessings.
You are welcome to email me if you want to talk about the Church.

I love reading books ("The Lord of the Rings", by JRR Tolkien is my favorite book), writing poetry, stories, and anything else I can. I take ballet, tap, and hiphop dance lessons, which I adore. I love laughing and hanging out with my friends. I don't like Tim Curry, mice, obnoxious people, and people who treat other people without respect. Don't push me too far - I have a nasty temper that I have a hard time controlling. I love baseball, and my favorite team are the St. Louis Cardinals. I adore JD Drew. :-D I play piano and love it - my favorite composer is Jon Schmidt. I work at the local YMCA.

At night my mind does not much care
If what it thinks is here or there.
It tells me stories it invents,
And makes up things that don't make sense.
I don't know why it does this stuff.
The real world seems quite weird enough.
