This is the
plaque for the Horace Greeley Statue, which is found in City Hall
Park, on Park Row. Newsie fans will recall this statue from the
center of Newsies Square, where 'Seize the Day' was performed.
The real statue looks pretty different. But it was still really
cool.

THE Horace Greeley Statue. 'Nuff
said.

By this point (yes, we're still at the Greeley Statue) we'd been
gawking for quite awhile, and we were beginning to get pretty weird
looks from passing New Yorkers.
Left to right: Ashley, me, and Megan

This is Pace University.
For everyone who doesn't know, Pace University is the site of the old
New York World building. (Yes! The very building in which Joseph
Pulitzer ran his infamous newspaper!)
Pictured is some passing lady I don't know, Ashley, me, and
Megan

This is the old New York Times building. It is also owned by Pace
University and happens to be next to where the old World building
was. *grumbles* Why they didn't leave the World intact is beyond
me... Like I want to see dumb old Hearst's building...
*laugh*
Keep
Going!
